Well our little angel slept from 8:00am until 6:30am straight through. She wakes up smiling every morning it's so refreshing. After breakfast we had to hang out in our room and wait for Jocelyn to call and let us know if our paperwork was complete for the U.S. Consulate appointment tomorrow. She called around 11:15am and said we are good to go. After that we went shopping because I am feeling sooooooooo much better today. We pretty much had a free day which was nice. Alexandra was a trooper; she's a shopper like her mom. There's not a whole lot her to buy several of the shops and stores even the grocery is closed. Tomorrow morning we will go to the Pearl Market and check that out and in the afternoon we will board a bus and go the U.S. Consulate appointment. It's about a 45 minute bus ride. Grace said it used to be here on the island however the office closed and relocated. We will then go over the White Swan Hotel for pictures of the babies on the famous red couch. Speaking of the White Swan Hotel it is beautiful, we ate dinner there this evening and which overlooked the Pearl River. After dinner we walked through the park and did a little more shopping. The weather is still very nice warm but not humid.
Alexandra had a great day! She is very interested in everything. She likes when we sing to her, she even enjoys when I sing believe it or not. (And everyone knows how I can’t carry a tune and I got kicked out of chorus in 11th grade) She is laughing more and doesn’t have a problem letting us know what she wants or what she doesn’t want. She napped well and is growing. She weighs 17.1 pounds and I feel like she has grown since we got her. Well thanks again for the emails and following us!
