Gotcha Day!
Today is the day and if you want to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see our angle that's ok because I know this is really what you all have been waiting for, so go ahead and take a peek. I'm not sure if I can choose the correct words to describe this emotional day. So let's start at the beginning: we left Beijing at 4:30am from the hotel and our flight left around 8:30am. It was a 3hour flight however we got in a little early and met Marie and Anita our CCAI guides at the airport and they took us to the hotel. We got to the hotel at noon and she said we needed to be in the   conference room @ 3:00pm and the babies were to arrive at 5:30pm. The anticipation and excitement was unbelievable. Then just as we finished the paper work Marie got a call and said that the babies had arrived in Chongqing and they would be at the hotel in 1 hour. She started showing us how to make bottles and how to bath the babies and then all of a sudden the nannies starting carrying the babies just from our orphanage in. We could identify Alexandra immediately. She is really TINY.  Although she was the oldest one at 11months she is the smallest. We were numbered by family and we were lucky number three. When they called number three I started to cry and we were all overwhelmed with emotion. She just looked around and was checking things out and she likes to suck her index finger on her right hand. This is obviously very soothing to her. When we took her to our room she cried a little and has a soft cry. We could tell she was unsure of her surroundings. Marie suggested that we give her a bath this evening and I was a little hesitant but we tried it and she loved it. I'm thinking that it may have been her first real bath and therefore it was a whole new experience.  She did take a bottle and fell asleep around 7:40pm and is sleeping like an angle. From the information we received from the orphanage supposedly she goes to sleep at 8:30pm and sleeps until 6:00am but sometime wakes up and 1-2am for a bottle so I am not sure what's in store for us this evening. What I do know it that we have been truly blessed and that God's timing is perfect. We cannot tell you how thankful we are for this blessing. We are now a family of four and it is wonderful. I can't wait for you all to meet her.  I do need to apologize for the typing errors in this post and the previous ones. There just isn't a lot of time so sorry about that. Thank you to everyone for the emails they are so enjoyable and I will keep each and everyone of them for her to read someday. Thanks again for sharing is this journey with us and we look forward to reporting tomorrow. She hasn't really smiled yet today so we are hopeful that we see many tomorrow. Well we must go for now and get some rest. More to come tomorrow!. I will tell you about Chongqing tomorrow from what I can see it's very different from Beijing. Talk to you all soon!

Good night from Chongqing!
