We traveled to Civil Affairs this morning after getting a parents/child picture with Ainsley. We were shocked to find out that we could not process her passport until 48 hours together had passed. This policy is to promote bonding of parent and child. Go figure! We are praying that somehow things will work out that we will be able to return on time to the States. We are in need of a miracle. However, after being alarmed that perhaps there would be a problem with taking Ainsley, so we will work out these other problems, as long as we have our little angel.
Ainsley is coming out of her shell already! She is laughing an adorable laugh that makes all who hear her laugh, too. She likes to be tickled and play with her brother and sisters. They are playing with blocks and cups with Sophia and Olivia is an excellent teacher, too. Ethan remarked that she is cuter than he expected. What a big brother! We all agree: Ainsley is absolutely adorable and a blessing already.
Lunch was spent at Pizza Hut with our facilitator Grace. Living Hope has the nicest helpers and we really need their help here! Some of us napped a little (Richard and Stacy) and some of us napped a lot (Ainsley, Sophia and Nana Carole) and some of us did not want to wake up due to jet lag and missed their nutritious dinner from Chez McDonald's (Ethan and Olivia). |
