Richard was up and out early to get another paper notarized.  Our visa application went to the consulate this morning, too, in the care of our facilitator.  We were told that everything went fine on that end.  Looking forward to being "sworn in" tomorrow at the US consulate in Guangzhou.  We are promising to be good and faithful parents to Ainsley.  Have we mentioned how much we adore her and are so grateful to be her parents?

Nana Carole and Stacy had to navigate the hugely wonderful American breakfast buffet due to Richard needing to be elsewhere.  We laughed, as it reminded us of the Chinese obstacle course show called "Just Go" that we all have become fond of.  Everyone did eat and nobody got hurt.
Unfortunately we did not win a Nokia cell phone like the contestants of "Just Go" do.

Due to the stress (hard to believe there is any stress in international adoption, eh?) we decided to treat ourselves to an ice cream cone after lunch and walked to the exercise park.  Ainsley fell fast asleep in the stroller and slept for 2 hours this afternoon, while Ethan, Olivia and Sophia had a good time playing at the park.  While at the park, Nana Carole took a break from all the activity.  Ethan, Olivia and Sophia missed their Nana and wanted to go straight back to her room after the park and hang out watching a TV show with her.  Richard and Stacy worked on packing and Stacy even was able to read a book for 15 whole minutes!

We were so excited to get a Papa John's pepperoni pizza delivered to the hotel for dinner tonight.  After the stress of several unforeseen glitches, Stacy and Carole decided that it would be in the best interest of their health to get a relaxing massage before bed.  What a wonderful husband Richard was to watch the kids, as the ladies recharged their batteries.

The evening was ended with the family piled on two twin beds (our American equivalent of 2 queen beds) watching Chinese acrobats on TV.  Ainsley is sleeping in her crib peacefully at night and we continue to dream of returning to the United States.
