Thanks so much for visiting us during our journey, Matt, Andrea and Aerin!
Today was for relaxing! Due to the change in the schedule yesterday, we had no place that we had to be and it was nice. We did have a visit from the local pediatrician. Aerin has had a cough and some mucus in her eyes. We had noticed yesterday when we got her that she sounded raspy and had a cough. We asked the nurses from the orphanage if she had been sick. They said that she hadn't for at least the last three months. The doctor said that she has a little bronchitis and an infection in her eyes. He also said that she might have a little asthma. He seemed to think it was nothing to worry about but gave us three different medicines to treat her. We will make sure that we have her checked by her doctor when she gets home.
We went to the local market today to get more soda and some juice, wipes and more diapers for Aerin. She got a little fussy riding in the stroller, so mom held her for the rest of the trip. We returned to the hotel and tried to get some rest.
Now that everything has been legalized here, it makes it hard not to want to come home and get back to our own home with our new baby! She is everything we have always wanted! She is the missing piece of our family.
