For today's post, the part of the wife will actually be played by the husband...
Mom and Abraham are nicely tucked into bed and dreaming sweet dreams of being home, so I was asked to share some thoughts for today's post.
In some respects, it has been a long and a short couple of weeks. It's hard to describe, so I won't try.
Since I have the floor, allow me to thank some people.
-- Thank you Gail and Connie for being there in China while I could not be.
-- Thank you Darrel and Kids -- and Clayton and Kids -- for allowing Gail and Connie to make this trip with Tami.
-- Thank you Julie, Eileen, Lindsay, and Pam for helping out with the girls.
-- Thank you everyone who made meals for us so my kids didn't eat McDonald's twice daily.
-- Thank you everyone who has been praying for all of us during this time.
-- Thank you God for giving us a heart for orphans.
Tami will be traveling all day tomorrow, so I'm not sure what that message will be, but we'll figure something out.
Finally, the pics below are random pics I liked from the trip so far. I hope they are not repeats. And since I wasn't there when they were taken, I can't really provide any captions or insight.
