The meeting at the orphanage was fabulous! Smooth. Relaxed. Positive. Very, very good. If I could have written the script for the gotcha, it would
have been exactly like this. It was amazing and I am thrilled for Abraham.
After we left the orphanage, we ran some errands and those threw him over the edge. He was tired and out of sorts. I told our guide that I didn't think we would be going out tomorrow. We'll see how the morning goes.
He is only bottle fed - although I can't figure out for the life of me HOW. He does not suck on the bottle. It's weird. As a desperate momma - intent on getting something in that little belly of his, I mixed up some rice cereal and he loved that! Messy - since he also doesn't know how to chew yet, but we will learn together.
He is wearing every bit of 18 month clothing and I didn't bring a pair of shoes big enough for his feet!
I literally can't keep my eyes open... please forgive me for the short post. More tomorrow.
GOTCHA!!!
It was very, VERY emotional...
Sharing Cheerios (if only he knew how to eat them!)
Trying some babyfood (and not particularly liking it).
